21 teams representing the ministries will compete in the Badminton tournament in conjunction with the 32nd Civil Service Day Celebration. The official opening ceremony took place at the Tutong Sports Complex, 2nd November morning.

The launch was officiated by Awang Salminan bin Haji Burut, Permanent Secretary for Safety and Welfare, at Ministry of Home Affairs. Five categories are contested. The tournament was jointly organised by Tutong Municipal Department and Tutong District Office, conducted by EYH United and supported by Brunei Darussalam National Badminton Association.
